Launching is hard enough without guessing whether the board is rigged. Launch sites tend to drift towards whoever can buy the most attention or rally the biggest group of friends. LaunchHeat is an attempt at the opposite: a simple, open formula, human review, and a hard line between paid placement and ranking.
Free to launch
Submitting and launching costs nothing, and always will. Paid extras are optional and labelled.
Reviewed by a person
Every launch is checked by hand before it goes live, so the board stays real products, not spam.
Rankings you can't buy
Sponsored slots sit apart from the board. Payment never changes a product's score.
Rewarding real interest
The score counts votes, unique visitors and clicks to your site, deduplicated per person per day.
How ranking works
Every live product gets a Launch Score: each vote counts 1, each unique visitor 0.15, and each click through to the product's website 0.5. Visits and clicks are counted once per person per day, and bots are ignored. Today's board covers launches since 00:00 UTC, this week's since Monday, and the all-time board everything.
Each product page shows exactly how its score adds up, so nothing about the ranking is hidden.
