Does paying improve my rank?
No. Your Launch Score is calculated from votes, unique visitors and website clicks only. Paid placements appear in separate, clearly labelled sponsored slots and never change your organic rank.
Is launching really free?
Yes. Every approved product gets a launch page, a place on the daily leaderboard, the founder dashboard, a share kit and an embeddable badge at no cost. Promotion is entirely optional.
Can I promote a product that hasn't launched yet?
Promotions attach to an approved launch, so submit your product first. Once it's approved you can add a Boost, Spotlight or Takeover from your founder dashboard.
When does my promotion start?
As soon as your payment is confirmed. Boost and Spotlight start immediately and run for 24 or 48 hours. A Takeover runs for the full UTC day you book.
Why is there only one Takeover per day?
The hero slot is the most visible spot on LaunchHeat. Keeping it to one launch per day means it actually stands out, and the date you book is yours alone.
